Muqtida Hasan Nida Fazli, known as Nida Fazli ,the great Urdu and Hindi poet who has given beautiful words to our emotions for more than five decades, has left us for the journey towards heaven, forever.

Fazli Sahab’s resplendent work in poetry as well as Hindi music is going to stay with generations, for ages to come. He absorbed the soul of Ghalib and Mir in his expressions but with such alluring simplification that it made him people’s poet. Strangely he was inspired by Hindi bhajans of Meera and Soordas depicting human emotions and bonding in becoming a poet.

Nida Fazli Biography

Nida Fazli has written some beautiful songs for Hindi cinema although he found lyric writing a technical task and was reluctant for the same. Most of his own nazms/ ghazals were adapted by himself as lyrics.
